Batanga Reposado Tequila
Batanga
ORIGIN: JALISCO, MEXICO
From Casa Orendain who have been producing Tequila since 1926; Batanga is
made using 100% blue Weber agave with traditional, old-world methods, that
have been used for generations. Their jimadors hand-harvest the agave piñas,
which are then cooked in traditional style masonry brick ovens, imparting
nuances of cinnamon, clove and other warming spices from the delicate process of
caramelizing sugars. The ‘mosto’ released is then fermented and double distilled,
giving Batanga the crisp, bright finish that has won the hearts of people near and
far.
Blanco: 100% agave Tequila with double distillation. Made with traditional
methods, brick cooked agave. Ideal to be enjoyed straight, or in cocktails.
Reposado: 100% agave Tequila with double distillation. Made with traditional
methods, brick cooked agave and aged in American white oak barrels for 10
months. Full bodied taste and personality with soft touches of cooked agave and
wood, giving a perfect balance between the distillation and the time in barrel.
