The very first release from this single Chardonnay block on Isolated Hill—planted to Mendoza clone and facing west—reveals a restrained, terroir-driven expression. Naturally low-cropping and hand-picked, the fruit was fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak and rested ten months, completing a full, natural malo-lactic transformation in early summertime. The wine is clean, lithe and pure: dry and precise with a mineral core and bright accents of white stone fruit and fennel. Elegant, focused and quietly persistent.
