Our first Winter Winemakers’ Dinner Series is with Champagne Laurent-Perrier. Champagne Laurent-Perrier will always hold a special place in our hearts, a staple in any great venues Champagne offering, these wines have always impressed us with their purity, elegance and class. John from Queens Wineshop was lucky enough to visit the estate last year and have a tour of the winery and learn a little more about the history and what makes the House one of the greats. We are so proud to be able to honour these great cuvees with some stellar food to highlight their prowess and food pairing capabilities, showcasing that fancy fizz is not only for celebrating a win, and it can also be so much more than something to just begin a meal with.
About the Series :
As the cooler months settle in, we’re leaning into the opportunity that shorter days offer, longer nights, great food, incredible wine, and shared experiences. We’re partnering with some of our favourite wineries to host a collaborative and creative series of evenings built around exceptional wine, conversation, and a more relaxed style of dining.
Rather than a traditional formal winemakers’ dinner, these events will feature banquet-style sharing menus with rolling courses designed to create a more social and engaging atmosphere. The menus will showcase some of Queens Rooftop’s signature dishes alongside one-off creations from chefs Maia Atvars and Drexler Lumangtad, carefully paired with phenomenal wines that really elevate the experience.
The evenings will be hosted by John Robertson from Queens Wineshop and are designed to feel intimate, interactive, and convivial—allowing guests to engage directly with the winemakers and ambassadors while enjoying the wines in the setting they were intended for.
