TASTING NOTES
Light straw yellow in color; delicate fruit aromas of pear and white peach evolve into complex floral notes with hints of aniseed, confirmed on the palate. Crisp, clean medium bodied wine that delivers a clean finish with hints of lemon.
BRAND INFORMATION
At the Fontanabianca winery they have clear ideas: quality is closely related to the features of the soil in the region of Neive, where Aldo Pola with his family, have been carrying on their work, which the father Franco started in 1969. The tie with the hills which are cultivated with Barbaresco vines was sealed many years ago: the winery is located in the hamlet of Bordini, surrounded by vines which seem to disappear beyond the horizon. Ageing takes place in large oak barrels and the smaller barrique barrels are used for the wine maturation to preserve the taste of grapes in the wine: this is the motto of Fontanabianca.
