Paritua - Winter Winemakers' Dinner Series

Paritua is based in the Hawke's Bay, known as Te Matau-a-Māui, which translates to the fishhook belonging to Māui. Paritua has had its hooks in us since the beginning. We are thrilled to have the Head Winemaker Jason Stent, and GM Olivia Herbert with us to share their story and enlighten us on why the region is lovingly referred to as New Zealand's Bordeaux.

About the Series :

As the cooler months settle in, we’re leaning into the opportunity that shorter days offer, longer nights, great food, incredible wine, and shared experiences. We’re partnering with some of our favourite wineries to host a collaborative and creative series of evenings built around exceptional wine, conversation, and a more relaxed style of dining.

Rather than a traditional formal winemakers’ dinner, these events will feature banquet-style sharing menus with rolling courses designed to create a more social and engaging atmosphere. The menus will showcase some of Queens Rooftop’s signature dishes alongside one-off creations from chefs Maia Atvars and Drexler Lumangtad, carefully paired with phenomenal wines that really elevate the experience.

The evenings will be hosted by John Robertson from Queens Wineshop and are designed to feel intimate, interactive, and convivial—allowing guests to engage directly with the winemakers and ambassadors while enjoying the wines in the setting they were intended for.
